Arizona Immigration Law Hits Roadblock
SHERMAN, TX--Arizona immigration laws hit a roadblock as a federal judge intervened Wednesday.
This battle could end up before the Supreme Court. The debate over immigration has divided much of the country.
A member of the Grayson County Hispanic Heritage Council says that he's glad a federal judge got involved to protect human rights.
"I think its a good thing," Tom Avila said, Vice President of Scholarships for the Grayson County Hispanic Heritage Council. "I think that's why we have a court system that will step in and tell the legislature that--that's not right and that's not going to fly around here."
The results of this debate could decide if federal law can overturn state law.
